Megan is an ethereal and graceful performer, who has loved dancing since she was a young child studying ballet. Her passion for bellydance began in 1999 when she saw an ad in the paper for the Raqs Sharqi School of Egyptian Dance, and thought it sounded like fun. She was mesmerised by the teacher and costumes, and knew this was the art form for her. Since then she has learnt baladi from Samina when she was at Peacock Studio, studied cabaret styles with Bedazzled Bellydance, and is now exploring Azerbaijani folk dance with Kirsty.
"Bellydance is for everyone and is great for fitness, socialising and appreciating other cultures and traditions."
